May 31, Miranda rated it it was amazing. It scared me a little how closely Blake's story was similar to my own. A master of one night stands but always there for Blake as a friend, the reader q Ian and Blake I absolutely loved this introduction to Mary E Thompson!

Wanted e friend

A master of one night stands but always there for Blake as a friend, the reader quickly grasps he has a thing for his curvy friend. Blake, meanwhile is carrying A LOT of baggage due to family, her shape, her ex Ian is faced with an uphill war to get her to see their FWB is more to him then an extended one night stand.

With a subcast of interesting characters friends, other couples, etc and a duel POV - this was a good read that again, maybe hit closer to home then I was expecting Their motivations are non-existent.

Jan 12, Sheranda rated it liked it. I'm partial I love the steamy parts but I hate how Blake keep hating herself. Causing to almost miss out on Ian. That only almost got me to stop reading.

I'm not trying to damper the plot but mentioning her low self esteem thru out the book got me weary I'm partial I love the steamy parts but I hate how Blake keep hating herself. I'm not trying to damper the plot but mentioning her low self esteem thru out the book got me weary Jun 05, Rachel rated it it was ok. These "women" and "men" are supposed to be in their 30s yet it felt like we were watching high school romances and friendships unfold. The insecurity and lack of communication didn't even quite reach college level. From Ian keeping his feelings a secret to his sister finally figuring out he was in love with Blake, to Blake skipping around like a 16 year old.

Considering her situation with her mom, you'd think she's be mature for her age, instead she was the opposite. Ian is supposed to be in his These "women" and "men" are supposed to be in their 30s yet it felt like we were watching high school romances and friendships unfold. Ian is supposed to be in his late 30s and it felt creepy because Blake's maturity was that of a teenager. If it wasn't for the adult sexual situations, this could be YA.

Something I would have enjoyed reading in high school or college. I DNF and won't continue with the series. Nov 20, M Keefe rated it liked it. Kinda boring and depressing The lead female character is a doormat to herself. Sometimes I just wanted to dong her, she hates herself so much she kept throwing away faith. Sheesh, the story is well written but thats about it.

May 19, Talia Nyx rated it liked it. Totally related to Blake.

Good over all but a little drawn out Good over all but a little drawn out for me. It's the same issue on repeat. But characters are sold and relatable.
